(macOS) Changing Google Chrome to be Default Web Browser
Google Chrome always asks to be the default browser the very first time it is launched. It is recommended to say 'Yes'. If this option was not chosen, or you want to manually select Chrome to be the default macOS Web Browser, follow the below steps:
1. Click on the Apple Logo in the top-left corner and click 'System Settings':

2. On the left-side, scroll down and select 'Desktop & Dock':

3. After 'Desktop & Dock' is selected, on the right-side, scroll down to 'Default web browser'.
If the current Default web browser is not Google Chrome.app, click and change it to that as shown below:

It should look like this:

You may now close out of System Settings.
