Creating a Shared Google Calendar and Transferring Ownership

1. Sign in to your Google account and go to the Google Calendar.

2. To create a new Google Calendar:
- Click on the "+" icon in the left sidebar and select "Create new calendar".
- Not the one that says create, the one at the bottom next to other calendars

- Enter a name for your new calendar and other optional details.
- Click "Create calendar" to finish setting it up.

- Too add people
- Click on the 3-dot menu next to the calendar you want to transfer.

- Select "Settings and sharing".

- Under "Share with specific people", click "Add people".


3. To transfer ownership of a Google Calendar:
- Same instructions for adding people as above
- In the "Permission settings", select "Manage Events and Sharing".
- Click "Send" to grant them co-ownership of the calendar.
- They will then have to remove you as the owner
Once you complete these steps, the new owner will have full control over the calendar and be able to manage events, sharing, and ownership. You will no longer be the admin or owner of that calendar.
