How To Access HVAC VM's + IBEX

Access to each school's IBEX application is no longer done through Microsoft Remote Desktop. It is now accessed through the PSD Portal.

1. Sign-into to the PSD Portal - portal.psd401.net

2. Click on the Technology Resources folder:

3. Click on HVAC Server Remote Console:

4. If you see a 'Your connection is not private' message, click 'Advanced' and then 'Proceed to....'

5. At the VMware vSphere Login Page, enter your PSD email address and portal password. Check the 'I agree...' box, then click Login.

6. After logging in, you will see a list of the school Virtual Machines on the left:

7. Click on a school, then on the right - click Launch Web Console:

8. It will open a web page view of the computer in a new tab:

9. At the above screen, just click anywhere on the page once.

10. Click 'Other User' if you do not see your username. Enter your PSD username and password (no email):

11. If it's your first time logging into the computer it may take a couple minutes:

12. Once you have logged in, you can drag IBEX to be visible all the time. In the bottom-right corner of the screen, click the up arrow:

13. Click and drag the FireDaemon icon to be always visible:

14. If done correctly, it should look like this:

15. To access IBEX, simply double-click on the FireDaemon icon. You should then see IBEX:
